The Galician countryside is the perfect place to raise animals in the open air. Its mild and humid climate, the richness of its waters, the green pastures and the production of cereals make Galicia a privileged land to produce food of the highest quality. In these Galician fields, we grow our organic products such as chickens, hens, pigs and calves that are fed with organic cereals and have the seal of the Regulatory Council of Organic Farming of Galicia (CRAEGA), which certifies strict compliance with European regulations on organic production.
Our cooperative began over 20 years ago with organic productions and nowadays it has become the first integral producer of organic meats in Spain.
The breeding and feeding of all our organic animals are certified and protected by the Consello Regulador da Agricultura Ecolóxica de Galicia (CRAEGA).
Coren's burgers are made by traditional mincing with the noblest and freshest pieces of ecological Veal.
The organic eggs come from traditional red-plumage breed hens, which roam in freedom in the Galician countryside and feed on certified organic cereals.
Coren’s organic chicken is reared in the highest animal welfare conditions, that is why it is truly savoury and natural. Our chicken comes from a selected breed of traditional red plumage. Pasture-raised for 81 days with a minimum area of 4 m2 in Vilalba (Lugo). Besides, our feeding is a 100% organic cereal-based diet. Our organic chicken is certified by the Regulatory Council for Galicia’s Organic Agriculture.
